We Hosted our first “100 man lunch” on Friday, April 10th.
This event is rooted in our belief that connection, safety, and belonging are the foundation for children’s success. Positive male involvement helps children feel seen, valued, and supported, which strengthens confidence, social-emotional development, and school readiness.

We had 20 community representatives including the Benton County Health Dept, Warsaw/Lincoln Ambulance District, Warsaw Fire Dept., Warsaw Police Dept, Warsaw school administration, and Truman State Park.
12 family members of children were also in attendance along with local and administrative Head Start Staff.

Thank you to McDonald’s, Sonic, Heart of America redistribution center, and Hilltop Bbq for donations to our meal.

Warsaw Head Start classroom 2 celebrated Dr. Seuss birthday with “hat day”. They will be reading Dr. Seuss books all week and are wearing green tomorrow.

A visit from the Benton County Sheriff’s Dept. was on today’s agenda at Warsaw Head Start.

The Warsaw Head Start staff and families enjoyed a “breakfast for dinner “ meal at Soup and More Thursday evening. We were celebrating “Read a Fairytale Day” and dressed up for the occasion. We also read “The Three Little Pigs” and paraded around the dinner tables in our costumes.

“Breakfast with Beloved” was help on Friday, February 13th at Warsaw Head Start. Children were joined by their loved ones for breakfast featuring French toast casserole!

In January, our Head Start family gathered to “Beat the Winter Blahs” by playing games, doing puzzles, and eating pizza. We had 27 people in attendance.
