MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT UPDATE

The Board of Trustees would like to announce that Terry O’Leary has agreed to take the helm of the Bent Tree Harbor Maintenance Department.

We appreciate Terry’s willingness to step into this role and contribute her time and effort to the community. As Bent Tree Harbor continues working through important projects and ongoing improvements, her leadership will be a valuable asset to the Association.

Bent Tree Harbor Homeowners Association announces that Trustee Rick Snow has stepped down from service on the Board of Trustees effective June 4, 2026.

After many years of dedicated service to Bent Tree Harbor and its residents, Rick has chosen to step away from Board responsibilities in order to focus on his family, professional commitments, and the completion of projects already underway as he works toward retirement.

This decision was made amicably and with mutual respect. Rick has been a valued member of the Board and has contributed countless volunteer hours, leadership, knowledge, and hard work to the betterment of our community. His efforts have helped move many important projects forward and have left a lasting impact on Bent Tree Harbor.

Although stepping away from Board service, Rick has offered to continue assisting Bent Tree Harbor with the completion of the sewer plant project, demonstrating his continued commitment to the community and its future success.

The Board sincerely thanks Rick for his years of service, dedication, and friendship. We wish Rick and his family nothing but the very best as he focuses on the next chapter of life, and we are grateful for everything he has done for Bent Tree Harbor.

REQUEST FOR BIDS – BATHHOUSE SHOWER WALL RESTORATION

Bent Tree Harbor Property Owners Association is accepting written bids for restoration of painted concrete block walls in the bathhouse shower areas.

Purpose of Project

The purpose of this project is to clean, restore, seal, and refinish existing painted concrete block shower walls to improve appearance, address rust staining and surface deterioration, and provide a durable, cleanable finish suitable for a wet bathhouse environment.

Minimum Scope of Work

Contractor shall review existing conditions and provide a written proposal outlining recommended preparation and refinishing of the walls.

Proposal should include, at minimum:

1. Cleaning of existing painted concrete block walls to remove dirt, soap residue, mildew, rust staining, loose material, and surface contamination.
2. Removal of loose, peeling, flaking, or failing paint as necessary to properly prepare the surface.
3. Surface preparation necessary to allow proper adhesion of new coating materials.
4. Application of primer and/or sealer appropriate for painted concrete block or masonry surfaces in high-moisture environments.
5. Application of finish coating suitable for bathhouse or shower use with durability for repeated moisture exposure and routine cleaning.

Contractor Bid Must Include

• Total project cost

• Proposed scope of work

• Surface preparation method

• Products and materials proposed for use

• Number of coats to be applied

• Estimated start date

• Estimated completion timeline

• Warranty information, if offered

• Proof of insurance

• References or prior similar project experience preferred

Additional Information

Contractor is responsible for evaluating site conditions and recommending the best products, coatings, and methods for long-term performance in a bathhouse/shower environment.

Site inspection is strongly encouraged prior to submitting a bid.

Bent Tree Harbor Property Owners Association reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

Bid Submission Deadline

Written bids must be received no later than 5:00 PM on June 21, 2026.
