We were happy to welcome our guest speaker, Donnie Nichols, to our monthly meeting yesterday. Donnie is a Master Naturalist and he shared some alarming information and statistics about the prevalence of plastics in the environment (and in our bodies!!)

Our hostesses, Jean T. and Lynne, provided a delicious breakfast casserole, watermelon salad, and zucchini bread.

Several members brought craft items that they made out of plastic……So Creative!!

Members were reminded that August 19th is Federation Day at the Missouri State Fair. Hope to see you there!!

A fun time was had at the FGCM annual state convention this week!!! Attendees enjoyed card-making, interesting speakers, visiting, and laughter.

Members did a fantastic job cleaning up the library gardens yesterday!!! Afterwards, a business meeting was held at the Warsaw Christian Church. Topics discussed included plans for the upcoming plant sale (May 16), the nursery tour (May 13), and the children’s library workshop (June 25). In addition, two new members were welcomed into the group!!!!!
