That’s a wrap! LifeWise Coshocton County hosted almost 300 elementary students this past school year! Although we are sad the LifeWise year has ended, we are excited to share information for additional opportunities this summer for children.
Next week provides two opportunities for fun!

Today we celebrate one of the most profound gifts—Christ’s sacrifice for us—which brings hope, forgiveness, and new life through His Death and Resurrection.
We are deeply grateful for all our students, families, volunteers, and supporters. You truly are a blessing, and we wish you a joyful, peaceful Easter surrounded by loved ones. Happy Easter from everyone at LifeWise River View!

Thank you to all who made our first “Evening of Impact” a success, including table hosts, guests, and volunteers. We are grateful for your support and for the community's generosity. We included a wall of 259 stars – each one representing a Coshocton County LifeWise student!

Brenda Kline is our volunteer spotlight this week! We value her love and enthusiasm in the LifeWise River View Elementary classroom. Her love for the Lord and the students is contagious! Below are some words from Brenda!

"As I reflect on the last 2 ½ years that I have been involved with LifeWise, I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for the blessings GOD has bestowed! What a fulfilling experience it has been to spread the good news of JESUS to young students and observe their excitement every week! Whether it’s a student who had never heard the stories and blessings of the Bible and are amazed by the miraculous outcomes, to the church attending young students who beg to finish telling the story to the class, or the joy of those that come in that announce their recent baptism, the excitement is palpable! This wonderful program has blessed adult and child alike “for such a time as this!” Praise Jesus!”

Our volunteer spotlight this week is Diane Williams. We appreciate her serving LifeWise River View in a number of ways for many years! Thank you Diane for all you do! Here are some words from her.

"I was on the board, the volunteer scheduler, and an on-site volunteer from the beginning at Conesville. When I was no longer able to physically volunteer on-site, I continued as the volunteer scheduler.

The best part of volunteering with LifeWise is knowing that kids are hearing the good news about Jesus.

Kids were always encouraged to share prayer requests at Conesville. One day a very young child asked for prayer for her family because they were always fighting. In subsequent weeks she shared that things had been better; and she was giving Jesus the credit for answering her prayer. What a great witness from a child from an unchurched home."

What a great day at RVIS LifeWise! In today's Bible lesson, we continued on in the story of Joseph. For a full account read Genesis chapters 42-50.

Joseph's brothers came to Egypt to ask for food. They had no idea their long lost brother Joseph (whom they'd sold into slavery) was one of Pharoah's rulers. At first, Joseph kept his identity a secret from his brothers sending them away with their request for food. Later, after some tests, Joseph reveals his identity and there is quite a reunion between Joseph, his father and brothers.

Joseph forgives his brothers for selling him into slavery. He tells them it was all part of God's plan for him to go to Egypt and help save the people from famine. Genesis 50:20 "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today."

The children learned today that nothing or no one can stop God's plan for their lives.

Joseph's story of forgiveness and redemption points us to Jesus. Jesus Christ became the ultimate sacrifice by taking the punishment of our sins when he died on the cross. We can be forgiven if we only ask! 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Our Bible verse for today is Isaiah 41:10 "fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Our character quality this week is FORGIVENESS.---Letting go of a grudge against someone who has wronged me.
