Enhancing services, programs, and patient care

Our mission is to enhance the services, programs, and patient care provided to the community by the hospital and nursing facility through increased philanthropic support. By fundraising, investing, and effective management, the Foundation raises support for programs, services, and equipment not fully funded by healthcare dollars.

Established in 1993, the Wyoming Community Hospital Foundation began with a gift of $50,000 from the community. Since then, the Foundation has successfully raised about $5,000,000 for capital campaign projects. The Foundation is overseen by a volunteer board of leading citizens and managed by professionals knowledgeable of the hospital’s needs. In addition to responding to current hospital requests, the Foundation also identifies emerging issues and stimulates resources to address such issues, helping the hospital and nursing facility to prepare for the future.

When individuals, businesses and foundations give to the Foundation, they become part of our ongoing mission to make a difference addressing the needs of today and changes of tomorrow.
