🎉 Freedom Fest Announcement
As we prepare for another wonderful Freedom Fest, we want to kindly remind everyone that this event is entirely funded and operated through financial contributions and volunteer efforts. It simply cannot continue without the generous support of our community.
Historically, there has always been a small fee associated with participation in various activities, including the children’s play areas, bags tournaments, and volleyball. These fees help cover the costs of supplies, equipment, and other event expenses.
The only change this year was planned to be an introduction of a small admission fee. This will not be happening this year due to some minor negative feedback.
Last year, we attempted to raise funds through donation boxes, which unfortunately brought in less than $20. It was clear that the donation approach was not generating the necessary support. This year, just as last, we will have donation boxes located around the property. If you can, please consider donating. Every dollar helps this continue.
We understand that some individuals were disappointed by this change, and we want to emphasize that our only goal is to keep this event thriving to be able to help our town river front development.
A change has also been made for parking. FFA will be guiding you to park for our event as usual, however, all parking will be on the north side of the river front until parking is full. It will then proceed on the south side for overflow. We encourage you to consider donating $1 to the FFA for their hard work in the hot sun. This wouldn’t be possible without their help as well.

For anyone asking, yes, you will be able to put in on the river still. The harbor will ONLY be closed during the fireworks for the safety of everyone.
