Gates open at 9 AM. Church service at 10 AM. Motorcycles and Classic/Antique/Collector Cars & Trucks Welcome! Door prizes and free lunch following the service. Live music! 100% of all donations will go to the Verlander family.

Several of you have reached out to ask what you can do for the Verlanders. Here are a few suggestions:

There will be a reception immediately following the interment at Popes Creek Baptist Church. If you’d like to contribute food but aren’t able to make it to the church, you can drop the food off at Miss Lora’s Flowers and Gift Shop in Montross or Garner‘s Produce by 10 AM Saturday morning. (Disposable dishes are best, but we will be happy to return any dishes if you include your name on the dish.)

Another option is to attend and/or donate to the 2023 JOSH BAUGHAN RIDE-IN/CRUISE-IN benefit at Rappahannock Church of Christ on Sunday, April 30th. All proceeds will go toward helping the Verlanders ease their financial burden during this difficult time.

We would like to provide an update from the Verlanders: We appreciate all of the calls, texts, and messages from everyone. We are sorry we haven’t been able to respond, but Cindy had an unplanned hospitalization for an abdominal issue. Thankfully, she had a procedure to correct it, is doing well and will be coming home today. If you’d like to leave well wishes/messages for Cindy or the family, feel free to comment below, and she will read those as she feels up to it. We will share the details on Brody’s funeral service as soon as we are able to finalize them. Thank you all for your love, prayers, and support!

It is with a heavy heart we share that we have lost our precious Brody. We know heaven is celebrating, but those of us still here are devastated and heartbroken. Continued prayers for his family and friends are appreciated.
