Special Thanks to the Pennsylvania SPCA, Bucks County Pets in Need Coalition, Banfield Pet Hospital, Warminster Parks, Warminster Animal Control for helping to provide such an impactful opportunity for families in need. We also super appreciated the pet care supplies and food that partners from The Bridge Clinic and Stray Cat Blues (Cat Rescue and TNR) for the pet food and toys provided for pets!

When a veterinarian graduates, they take an oath. That oath includes the commitment “to use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection of animal health and welfare, the prevention and relief of animal suffering, the conservation of animal resources, the promotion of public health, and the advancement of medical knowledge.”

Animal Lifeline has worked with countless caring veterinary professionals throughout the years. The work they do is hard, often emotional, and rarely glamorous. Yet there are still professionals showing up every day with humility, skill, and humanity for animals and the people trying to help them. That kind of commitment deserves to be recognized.

Today we recognize last weekend’s free spay and neuter clinic provided by the Doylestown Animal Medical Clinic. It was an honor to work alongside the visiting and in-house clinical and support staff to provide humane care for cats from Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia, and Lehigh counties.

They supported Good Samaritans helping stray cats and rescues. Their professional volunteerism provided care to cats that will live healthier lives, helped decrease cat overpopulation, and helped move cats and kittens into adoption programs faster due to the backlog of clinic space.

It was also impressive to see newer veterinarians and technicians learning alongside highly trained surgeons willing to share their knowledge and experience, and support staff kindly donating their time to pull the event together!

As the end of the day approached and cats were being picked up, we noticed Dr. John Marcus scrubbing floors side by side with staff after most of the volunteers had already gone home. That quiet leadership says a lot.

Cheers to both Dr. Marcus and his wife and co-owner of the practice, Angela Marcus, for creating an effective and humane solution for cats in crisis. Our community is lucky to have you.

Great news for Bucks County!

BIG NEWS, BENSALEM!

We’re thrilled to announce the most exciting chapter in our mission so far:
Paw Print Village is coming soon ‼️

For years, The Bridge Clinic and Rescue Purrfect Inc have worked to make high-quality, affordable veterinary care & animal rescue accessible to families across our region. Now, we’ve built something even more impactful...

A non-profit campus built to serve pets, their people, and the community that connects them.

Opening soon, Paw Print Village will include:

• The Bridge Clinic - our already established, full-service nonprofit veterinary practice that has proudly served the community for years 🩺
• Rescue Purrfect — our long-standing cat-only adoption center, now moving into a newly constructed, state-of-the-art rescue facility 🐈
• A professional grooming studio 🛁
• A community coffee shop & cafe ☕
• A mission-driven thrift store 👕
• A private, scenic dog park 🐕‍🦺

Paw Print Village is more than a campus. It’s a destination for animal lovers, a hub for meaningful community connection, and a place where every visit gives back to a much bigger mission ❤

Stay tuned for behind-the-scenes updates, opening details, and ways to get involved. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or are just discovering our mission, we can’t wait to welcome you to the Village!
