In acknowledgement of Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, members of the V&V team attended the VA Su***de Prevention Community Resource Fair & Mental Health Summit. This was an opportunity to connect with veterans in our local community, spread awareness about the risks of su***de within our veteran population, and share the benefits of how our CompeerCORPS program can support veterans through camaraderie and friendship.

Through provided support and mentoring, students in our College Plus Program experience success in their studies at Bucks County Community College. Following a student’s successful participation in the College Plus Program, they are encouraged to apply for the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) where they can continue their education. In addition, the College Plus team can help students identify financial aid opportunities, scholarships, and grants, as needed.
