Virginia Dairy Princess Program

The Virginia Dairy Princess Program promotes the consumption and sale of dairy products to the consumer and serves the dairy industry.

The purpose of the Virginia Dairy Princess Program is to promote the consumption and sale of dairy products to the consumer and to create better relations between urban and rural people through one on one contact at the local level.

Virginia Dairy Princess Mary Grace Menuey, Virginia Dairy Duchess Sedona Sifford, and Virginia Dairy Maids Ellnora Waldron, Hattie Waldron, Ada Robinson, Hollis Reams, and Gabriella Fuller recently spent the day promoting the dairy industry in Virginia’s Capitol! While there, the team met with the Secretary of Agriculture, First Gentleman, and Virginia Department of Agriculture staff! They also handed out ice cream, sponsored by Moo-Thru, at the OnTheSquareVA Farmers Market! To end the day, the royalty team received a tour of the Executive Mansion and a dairy food demonstration with the Executive Pastry Chef!

While there, the royalty team helped with awards and engaged with exhibitors!

Virginia Dairy Princess Mary Grace Menuey recently attended the Loudoun County Fair! During the week, Mary Grace promoted the dairy industry by distributing cheese sticks and dairy promotional materials to visitors and assisting the Loudoun County 4-H Dairy Club with activities!

To celebrate National Ice Cream Month, Virginia Dairy Princess Mary Grace Menuey enjoyed a scoop from the ice cream shack at the Loudoun County Fair!

🍦Did you know it takes about 3 gallons of milk to make 1 gallon of ice cream? The average American eats about 20 pounds of ice cream each year; that’s roughly 4 gallons!

While there, Mary Grace toured a dairy farm, engaged with guest speakers and dairy industry leaders, and built connections with other dairy princesses from Pennsylvania!
