We had the honor to host the Missouri State Treasurer Vivek Malek and Nathan Coatney, Legislative Director. State Treasurer Malek spoke to staff, Board Members, community leaders and community members about the MoABLE program and other Missouri programs that will help better our individuals we serve, our community and community members. Thank you for coming to share this information, tour our facility, and meet our individuals.

A great conversation around the Chamber table today!

We were pleased to welcome Missouri State Treasurer Vivek Malek and Nathan Coatney, Legislative Director, for lunch with a small group of local community and business leaders.

A key part of our conversation focused on helping more Missourians learn about the savings programs available for students and for individuals with disabilities. We talked about how the Chamber and local community partners can help get that information into the hands of families, individuals, businesses, and nonprofits who may not realize these resources are available.

We also discussed Missouri’s Unclaimed Property program and ways we can help more Warren County residents find money or property that may be waiting for them.

Sometimes it’s laughing so hard with your friends that someone has to ask what they missed. It’s looking forward to an outing, trying something new, having somewhere to go, or simply spending the day surrounded by people who know you well.

At Warren County Pathfinders, programs and services are important, but they’re the framework for something much bigger: helping people build lives filled with connection, purpose, choice, friendship, and plenty of really good days.

There’s something powerful about knowing your community needs you, too.

Through volunteer opportunities across Warren County, participants in our Adult Day Programs aren’t simply getting out into the community. They’re becoming an active part of what makes it work.

They deliver meals with Meals on Wheels, lend a hand at No Time to Spare Animal Shelter, help at the Elks Lodge and Strong Tower Ranch, support local food pantries and senior living communities, and even spend time each month helping our friends at the Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce.

Every opportunity brings something different. A new responsibility. A conversation with someone new. A chance to practice teamwork, make decisions, solve problems, build confidence, and discover just how much they have to contribute.

And that matters.

Because independence isn’t only about learning how to do things for yourself. It’s also about discovering where you fit, what you can offer, and knowing that your presence makes a difference.

We’re incredibly grateful for the community organizations that continue to open their doors and create meaningful opportunities for the people we serve.

This group got to take a fun trip to Astral Glass in New Haven, where they explored the creative world of glass blowing and got an up-close look at the craftsmanship behind it! ✨

We love finding opportunities to explore, learn, create, and make memories together. What a colorful day! 💛🧡💙
