Warrenton Kennel Club The Warrenton Kennel Club is a non-profit organization consisting of dog fanciers from the various counties surrounding Warrenton, VA.

The Objective of the Club is to further the advancement of all breeds of purebred dogs; and conduct dog shows, performance events and sanctioned matches under the rules of the American Kennel Club. The club also serves as a source of education for members and the public. The Warrenton Kennel Club conducts a two-day conformation show in September. Training classes for obedience and show handling ar

e offered in the fall, winter and spring at the National Guard Armory in Warrenton. In addition, show drop-in is also offered, which is a great way to keep our dogs in practice for shows. The Club also schedules seminars on a variety of topics pertaining to dogs by expert speakers. Club meetings are held the third Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. If you are interested in joining, come to one of our meetings for further information.

A Broad Run woman convicted of 60 counts of animal abuse in 2023 was ordered to appear in Fauquier County Circuit Court Thursday morning after violating the conditions of her probation, which required her to pay $1.5 million in restitution to the Fauquier SPCA.

Introducing Frank, the first portrait in our new collection, Caring Comrades, celebrating the four-legged companions that bring comfort and joy to veterans and residents at senior facilities through our program. Thanks to a generous donation from the Warrenton Kennel Club, we will be building this collection and sharing it throughout the community.

As a reminder, summer heat can be dangerous for pets, especially dogs with short snouts like Bulldogs, Pugs, and Frenchies.

Watch for signs of overheating like excessive panting or drooling, bright red gums, wobbling, or vomiting. If you notice these signs, get your pet to a cool area, offer water, and get medical care immediately.
