Mercy's Hope Living to serve the poor and those without a voice- widows, children, orphans, and women in Africa or wherever there is a need!

Founded by John and Valerie Hays of Warrenton, MO in January 2007. They have been traveling to Kenya for several years working with the schools and orphanages. When God called them to start Mercy's Hope and to focus on bringing hope to the children whose parents, for various reasons, were not able to care for them.

Valerie Hays is the founder and visionary behind Mercy’s Hope, a nonprofit organization
established in 2007 to transform the lives of vulnerable youth in Kenya. Passionate about
creating sustainable pathways to independence, Valerie has guided the organization’s
Scholarships For Success Program to a monumental milestone of 34 graduates, with 8 active
students currently receiving higher education support. Alongside these academic victories,
Mercy’s Hope oversees critical healthcare services, supports community small businesses, and is
developing a new regional resource center. The Tumaini (Hope)Center will provide resources,
and education to help vulnerable families rise above poverty and stay together as a family ✨

So proud of Ibrahim Kamua, one of our Scholarships For Success recipients. He finished trade school to be a foreman and immediately was chosen for a military training program with 15,000 other recruits. Many did not make it through this intense training. Some even lost their lives🙏 So proud Ibrahim made it through and we celebrate with him.
He now has the decision to go further in military training, pursue work in the field of construction or continue his education at no additional cost, praise God!!
The door is wide open for this young man.
Pray for him as he chooses his path.

We had such a great event Saturday Night at our Third Annual Bonfire and Worship Night!
This year's chili competition did not disappoint.
The food was amazing, musis was sweet and time hanging out under full moon with the blazings fires was one for the books. Congratulations to our Chili Cook- off winners
