Just want to take the opportunity to wish all the father's out there a very happy Father's day. I would also like to thank all the Coasties in the local community, who are on orders to leave the area, for thinking of and contacting our PennyWise thrift Store to donate their furniture and gently used clothing.

Do you or someone you know suffer from bipolar disorder (sometimes called manic depression)? WebMD provides an overview of this disorienting condition that causes extreme shifts in mood.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who have answered the request to "Friend" on this site. I will attempt to keep everyone apprised of what the DBSA is doing in the coming months as we reach out to the community for financial support to pay for the "Heaven Sent" boarding house in Warrenton, Oregon. We have until August, 2016 to raise 250 k and will be doing fund raisers during this coming year. Peter and Patricia Fessler

Just a reminder that the DBSA Meeting will be tomorrow, Sunday, July 15th, at the Seaside Library in the Community Room. Time is still 4-6PM. Hope to see you there. Peter Fessler

Just to let everyone know that we will be starting a second DBSA group in Seaside this coming Sunday. Meetings will be in the Community Room at the Seaside Library and will be from 4PM to 6PM. It was supposed to have been listed in the Seaside Signal this last Thursday, but it wasn't. If you know anyone in Seaside who doesn't have the transportation to attend our meetings in Astoria on the first Mondays, please let them know about this meeting. Also, if you feel the need for more than one meeting a month, we hope to see you there. We also didn't manage, because of other commitments, to get flyers up in Seaside - that will be taken care of before the next meeting. Anyway, we have the Community Room at the Seaside Library through December or the third Sunday of each month, and, hopefully, will start attracting members from Seaside.
