What amazing news of Kentaji Brown Jackson’s confirmation! With her background as a public defender, experience as a minority, and perspective as an agent for change the Supreme Court will have a stronger representation of America. What a moment in history. 💛

Dear Brother Ahmaud: I know that this verdict doesn’t bring you back, and, oh how I lament your death. Yet I rejoice in this verdict as I remember these words from my father: “I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality.” ~MLK

Our Why

We believe that it is our duty as citizens of this community to stand up toward injustices. In light of the recent racial bias and police brutality toward African Americans these past few months, we thought it would only be right to join the nationwide momentum in fighting for equality. The spotlight is on how All Black Lives Matter.

Hosting and partnering in a multitude of events such as rallies, marches, and lectures are aimed to educate and inspire people to make a difference in their own communities. Although racial injustices may not be as prevalent in their own backyard, it is still a major systemic problem in the United States.

This page will serve as a community board for Fauquier County, the surrounding communities, and any person who wishes to stay updated on current happenings in our nation in regard to the matter at hand. We look forward to Advocating for Justice with you!
