Fauquier Education Foundation Our Mission

To initiate, magnify, and sustain unique educational opportunities within Fauquier County Public Schools.

Since the mid-1980's, The Committee for Excellence in Education has supported and promoted excellence in our public schools by providing enrichment opportunities for teachers. The Committee has awarded funds in excess of $260,000 to over 175 teachers. During the 2013-2014 school year, a group of Fauquier County school officials, school board members, parents, and local citizens met regularly in th

e interest of launching a local public school foundation to benefit students and make 21st century learning a reality. The group was provided a perfect opportunity to merge with The Committee for Excellence in Education. This merger expands the scope of the existing foundation to include Fauquier County public school students and staff. In early 2014, The Committee for Excellence in Education became the Fauquier Excellence in Education Foundation.
