READ ALL ABOUT IT!

Sheila and Tammy volunteered at the Habitat for Humanity Cleveland ReStore, an opportunity that matched their interests in community involvement, learning new skills, and working outside the sheltered workshop setting.

During the outing, they helped relabel donated paint liners from Sherwin-Williams for resale at the ReStore. Both followed instructions, worked well with staff and community members, stayed engaged, and took pride in their contributions.

Going to the West Side Market is ALWAYS fun....but when TV cameras are there? It's even better!

Tasha went with a group of individuals from Rocky River AAC to experience the beautiful, historic, and YUMMY West Side Market offerings this week and all the thoughtful changes that the Market has implemented to support people with disabilities. She got to speak with the reporter from Channel 5 News, and while she didn't make it to the broadcast, she was able to have a one-of-a-kind experience!

The reporter asked Tasha if she liked the disability awareness event. Tasha replied that she loved it! She loved looking around and running into people she knew. Tasha was also asked if she bought anything. She had picked out a cookie and said it was delicious. 😁🍪
