🪣💦 Happy National Hole in the Bucket Day! 💦🪣

Let's be honest... our buckets have holes.

Between the pager going off at dinner, gear that never really dries, endless training, and caffeine being our love language, we lose a little (or a LOT) every day. 🤣

But here's the good news: holes may let the water out, but they don't stop us from showing up. 💪

In the fire service, we plug each other up, lift each other up, and keep filling each other's buckets back up when the job gets tough.

Today we celebrate the glorious, leaky, over-caffeinated buckets of the fire service. 🚒❤️

Tag the sister firefighter who is duct-taping her bucket together and still getting the job done! 😉

Today, we remember.

On this Memorial Day, Missouri Women of Fire honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends, attend ceremonies, or simply pause for reflection, we remember those who gave everything so others could live freely.

We also recognize the firefighters, EMS providers, law enforcement officers, and military members who continue to serve our communities and nation with honor.

May we carry forward the legacy of sacrifice, service, and strength.

❤️🤍💙

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day from Missouri Women of Fire 🌸

Today we celebrate the mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, mentors, and mother-figures who lead with strength, compassion, courage, and heart — both at home and in the fire service.

To the moms balancing late-night calls, early mornings, family life, training, leadership, and service to their communities… we see you, and we appreciate everything you do.

Thank you for showing the next generation what resilience, dedication, and love look like.

From all of us at Missouri Women of Fire — Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women who inspire us every day. ❤️🔥

The 3rd Annual Leadership Conference is in the books!

Over the last 48 hours, I've had the chance to step back and reflect on our conference and what an awesome experience it was. A weekend full of learning, mentoring, and genuine camaraderie.

What stood out most was how quickly a group of individuals became a unified team. Within hours, we formed a fire department bond. We trained hard, trusted one another, and built an environment that truly fostered growth, where people felt safe to push themselves and improve.

At the start of the conference, I talked about the saying, "who sent me." Now reflecting on the weekend, I see it as - We're sending each other. Carrying with us the responsibility to honor the PAST; to educate, mentor, and inspire the PRESENT; and to shape a FUTURE that leaves a meaningful and positive impact.

Be safe and see you all soon!
