Survival House

Survival House Survival provides a variety of services and resources for survivors of domestic and/or sexual abuse. Survival Adult Abuse Center, Inc.

All genders,races, and sexualities are welcome and all of our services are free and confidential. was formed in 1982 by a group of concerned citizens in Johnson County. Initially, emergency shelter and a crisis hotline were the only services provided, and only for "battered women". It became quickly apparent that more services were needed, and our services now include: a crisis hotline, emergency

shelter, referrals, case management, court advocacy, therapy, peer support groups, and more. Survival House continues to expand its services to both resident and non-resident survivors in Johnson and Henry counties. In addition to providing shelter to survivors of all genders and sexualities, it is Survival's goal to educate survivors, as well as the community, on the nature and dynamics of domestic and sexual abuse in the hopes of bringing it to an end.

🏈⚾ Sports Memorabilia Needed! ⚾🏈

We're looking for Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and St. Louis Cardinals memorabilia to help make our First Annual Masquerade Gala live and silent auctions a success!

Do you have signed jerseys, helmets, footballs, baseballs, photos, collectibles, tickets, or other sports-related items you'd be willing to donate? Your contribution will help us raise critical funds to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence served by Survival House.

Every donation, big or small, helps make a lasting impact in our community.

Donations can be dropped off at our Warrensburg Outreach Office Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you have questions or would like to arrange a donation, please call 660-429-1088 or email [email protected].

We're looking for new or gently used plastic, metal, and wicker baskets of all sizes to help us prepare for our upcoming fundraising events!

These baskets will be transformed into beautiful raffle and auction packages that directly support survivors of domestic and sexual violence in our community.

If you have baskets you'd like to donate, we'd love to give them a new purpose! Donations can be dropped off at Survival House Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Help us stock up on individually packaged snacks for the individuals and families we serve!

We're collecting snack donations at our Warrensburg Outreach Office from August 10 through August 21. Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM during these dates.

Suggested donation items include:
🥨 Crackers
🍿 Popcorn
🍎 Applesauce pouches
🥜 Granola bars
🥤 Juice boxes
🍪 Individually packaged cookies
🥨 Pretzels
🍓 Fruit snacks
