Update from the Schaches who are in PNG now...
The dorm project is complete on the inside with fully lined walls and ceilings and bright paint. Also floor coverings, power outlets, new cement steps and walkways down to the shower laundry facilities. There have been many surprises along the way, but none that could not have been expected in PNG.
Beds have been made and repaired and hopefully some cupboards can be made for students to store their personal items.
Because of the misuse of the shower laundry buildings, it has been requested that they be made more secure so Roy has plans for this as well as the needed repairs, no working shower heads remain.
Many buildings need assessment for repairs and water tank replacements. All will continue as long as time and money permits.
We are grateful for continued Good health, workers, and the love of our Enga friends.
Two weeks of less rain was great for the cement work. Yet no worries for a shortage of water in the tank.
We have been blessed with an abundance of beautiful fresh fruit and vegetables.
Our time is flying and Roy feels much pressure for all he hopes to get done yet. Not much rest. So thank you for your prayers and may they continue.
