UAW Region 1 is standing in solidarity with the striking workers of UAW Local 2093 at American Axle in Three Rivers, Michigan.

Join us Friday, June 12, 2026, as we caravan together to support our union family. We are collecting donations including non-perishable food, toiletries, hygiene products, baby items, pet supplies, and other everyday necessities.

We had our elections for Financial Secretary and Trustees on June 3, 2026. I would like to congratulate, Cheryl-Ann Edwards for winning the position of Financial Secretary, and I would also like to congratulate David Newell, Frank Bosco and Tamara Rush Ennis for winning the Trustee positions. Congratulations to Brian Edwards for retaining the Presidents position and Tina Bowlsby for the Recording Secretary's position. Good luck everyone on your new endeavor. The new positions will begin on July 1, 2026. I would also like to give a shout out to Yolanda Thorpe for doing a great job running the election.
