Brothers and Sisters,

Day 2 on the CIAC project and we are STILL standing strong — with 100% of the Union trades refusing to cross our line. That’s not just solidarity. That’s power. That’s every trade saying loud and clear: we don’t leave our Brothers and Sisters behind.

To every member who showed up today — thank you. To every trade that honored the line — we see you, we appreciate you, and we won’t forget it.

Thank you to: • Ironworkers • Laborers • Operating Engineers • Carpenters • Electricians • Bricklayers & Plasterers • Pipefitters & Plumbers • Teamsters • Painters, Glaziers & Allied Trades • Roofers • Sheet Metal Workers • Cement Masons • Sprinkler Fitters • Boilermakers • Millwrights • Heat & Frost Insulators • Every single Building Trades local that stood with us today

Your solidarity is the reason this line is holding.

We’re back out tomorrow morning, and we need this same strength — and more. If your local has members currently laid off or available, send them our way. Every additional body increases our visibility, our leverage, and our impact.

This fight is bigger than one job. This is about standards. This is about respect. This is about every worker who deserves to be treated right.

See you on the line. Stronger together. Stronger tomorrow.

MACOMB COUNTY — TODAY WE SHOWED WHAT SOLIDARITY LOOKS LIKE 💪

Over 100 union brothers and sisters stood strong and refused to cross the line. Because of that unity, a $229 million job was SHUT DOWN for the day. Let that sink in.

This isn’t just about one contractor or one trade — this is about EVERY skilled worker in Macomb County. It’s about fair wages, proper training, and the benefits every union worker has fought generations to secure.

We are not out here to take work away — we are here to raise the standard. We are here to make sure EVERY worker gets what they deserve.

📣 This is the call:
If you’re union — NOW is the time to stand up.
If you believe in fair pay — NOW is the time to show up.
If you benefit from union standards — NOW is the time to defend them.

We need EVERY trade. EVERY local. EVERY brother and sister.

👉 When the line goes up, we ALL honor it.
👉 When one of us fights, we ALL fight.
👉 When we stand together, NOTHING moves.

This week, we go even stronger. Bring your brothers. Bring your sisters. Bring your voice.

✊ SOLIDARITY FOREVER ✊

Brothers and Sisters,

Today’s job action at the Macomb County Jail was a clear success. Our union family stood strong, and our Brothers and Sisters across the Building Trades honored the line and refused to cross. That solidarity mattered. It sent a message that every trade understands: when one of us is under attack, all of us stand together.

We’re keeping this job action going through the rest of the work week, and we’re expecting the same strength, unity, and resolve that carried us through today. If we stay locked in, our success will continue.

We’re asking for your continued support — and if your local has any members currently laid off or available, we would greatly appreciate having them on the line with us. Every additional body increases our visibility, our strength, and our impact.

To every trade that stood with us today: thank you. Your solidarity is noticed, respected, and appreciated. Let’s keep that energy going.

United we stand. United we win.
