🔥 WARREN RESIDENTS NEED TO WATCH THIS. 🔥

The City of Warren wants union contractors at job fairs to recruit local workers.

But when it's time to hand out construction contracts, they keep giving the work to non-union companies.

Think about that.

They want us to recruit, train, mentor, and develop skilled local workers...

Then they award the work somewhere else.

So I went undercover at the Warren Skilled Trades Fair and asked the non-union contractors some very simple questions:

• Where's the pension?

• Where's the annuity?

• Where's the apprenticeship program?

• What does healthcare cost?

• How much are workers actually being paid?

The answers were eye-opening.

While union trades offer careers, retirement security, training, and family-supporting wages, many non-union contractors couldn't offer the same opportunities.

Warren residents deserve careers, not dead-end jobs.

THIS IS WHAT SOLIDARITY LOOKS LIKE. 💪✊ When the Michigan Building Trades stand together, we make our voices heard. At GM’s SPO Plant in Swartz Creek, every Building Trade came together—shoulder to shoulder, signs held high and voices loud—to send a clear message: we won’t stand down. WE STAND UP! On the third day, GM removed the non-union paint contractor and reached out to the Michigan Building Trades to hold a formal pre-job meeting to ensure a qualified contractor gets the work. That didn’t happen because one person showed up. It happened because WE showed up. Every member, every trade, every sign, every voice matters. This is what happens when we stand together. This is solidarity. This is Building Trades unity. This is BUILDING UNION POWER. 🔨💪🇺🇸 KEEP SHOWING UP. KEEP STANDING TOGETHER. KEEP BUILDING.

Brothers and Sisters,

Day 2 on the CIAC project and we are STILL standing strong — with 100% of the Union trades refusing to cross our line. That’s not just solidarity. That’s power. That’s every trade saying loud and clear: we don’t leave our Brothers and Sisters behind.
