For 2026, the 76th-Warren 4th of July Parade, we will celebrate our independence with a wild, wacky, and wickedly fun parade, street dance, and family fest.

Parade starts at 10 AM on July 4, 2026. Main Street in Warren closes at 8:30am SHARP.

Today is the Mad River Valley Rotary Club's 50th birthday. The club was chartered on this day in 1976. We look forward to serving another 50 years!

Rotarian Linda Levin takes full advantage of all the Mad River Valley has to offer. When she isn’t on the tennis court or skiing at Mad River Glen, she can be found hiking the local woods with her dog and husband, playing with fabric at her sewing machine, or cooking up something yummy! At the April 8 breakfast meeting of the Mad River Valley Rotary, Nick Managan, Chief of Staff of Cabot coop, Waitsfield,  presented updates on Cabot and the cheese business. Year after year Cabot has been a generous sponsor of the good work of Mad River Valley Rotary.  We are so grateful for the support!

We are so proud of .Rochford, 2018 recipient of a MRVRotary scholarship! Ellie graduated from UVM with a BS in Professional Nursing. Since 2022, she has worked at UVMMC and recently received a Daisy Award for her compassionate care and kindness. Congratulations Ellie! Kids from all five MRV elementary schools hit the slopes at this winter, thanks to the incredible efforts of MRV PTOs, countless volunteers, and a generous grant from MRV Rotary. Seeing smiles like Owen’s from Moretown Elementary makes it all worthwhile. Proud to support this amazing program!

Today’s lunchtime club meeting at Lawson's Finest Liquids featured Good Samaritan Haven of Barre with some difficult-to-hear, but important-to-know updates on the levels of unhoused persons in our area and how we can help as a club and as individuals. Their outreach work is so critically needed.

Meet MRV Rotary member Dave Ellison. From golfing and hiking to serving on three boards—Warren Library, Mad River Path, and MRV Rotary—Dave is all about giving back. He is also a devoted (fanatic?) skier, hitting the slopes at Sugarbush more than 100 days each season! This is MRV Rotary. Join us!

HEADS UP!!! You might find a smiling Rotarian outside of Mehuron's on Fridays and Saturdays for the next couple of weeks! You might think they're trying to sell you something. Actually, they are just reminding you how grateful you are to be a member of this amazing community. After that, though, they might have a suggestion about how you can show your support for our community. One way is to buy a couple of Restaurant Raffle entries! They're $5 each or 5 for $20.
