Rain or Shine, Warren Pride Shines Brighter! 🇺🇸✨

On behalf of the American Legion Post 293 and the Sons of the American Legion, we want to extend a massive THANK YOU to everyone who made yesterday’s 250th Anniversary Memorial Day Parade and picnic an unforgettable success!

Despite the weather-related delay, our community showed up with the true American spirit of resilience and dedication.

To our incredible parade participants: The band, the scout troops, the schools, the local charities, and the spectacular classic cars and motorcycles—you brought the history, the energy, and the patriotism that this milestone year deserved.

To our community members: Thank you for your patience, your cheers along the route, and for packing the Legion for our post-parade picnic. Seeing neighbors come together to honor our nation’s heroes is exactly why we love serving Warren Township.

A special shout out to all the volunteers, first responders, and township staff who worked behind the scenes to pivot and keep everyone safe and smiling.

We honored the past, celebrated the present, and made some incredible memories together. Thank you for standing with us!

🕚 Time: 12:00 PM sharp (NEW TIME!)
📍 Route: Starts at Washington Valley Road (behind Pheasant Run Plaza/near Saly G’s) and continues along Mt. Bethel Road & Mountain Blvd, concluding at the Municipal Center.

Celebrate Liberty: Join the Warren Township Memorial Day Parade! 🇺🇸

This year, as our nation celebrates the 250th anniversary of the USA, we are calling on the entire Warren community to help us make this year’s Memorial Day Parade our most memorable yet!

We are officially opening registration for all local schools, charities, scout troops, marching bands, and community organizations. We are also looking for classic cars and motorcycles to join the procession to help us mark this milestone year in style.

Parade Details:
📅 Date: Monday, May 25, 2026
🕚 Time: 11:00 AM sharp
📍 Route: Starts at Washington Valley Road (behind Pheasant Run Plaza/near Saly G’s) and continues along Mt. Bethel Road & Mountain Blvd, concluding at the Municipal Center.

Dear Post 293 Family,

Jim Mulvey is participating in The American Legion USA250 Challenge. It is a virtual fitness and wellness challenge for American Legion Family members and others that also raises critical funds for the Veterans & Children Foundation. He plans to bike 250 miles by our nations’s 250th birthday and you can support him in one of 2 ways. You can pledge an amount for every mile that he cycles and then donate after he completes his biking, or you can just pledge a flat amount (a little pun intended!). Any sized donation is greatly appreciated...thank you for your consideration!

The American Legion Veterans & Children Foundation helps military families and disabled veterans by:

1. Providing cash grants to military and veteran parents facing unexpected financial crisis to help with the costs of shelter, food, utilities, clothing and medical expenses.
2. Training thousands of service officers to provide expert assistance — free of charge — to veterans and families applying for VA disability benefits.

Thanks to The American Legion, veterans and their families have somewhere to turn when they need help … but we need your help too!

What an incredible show of support from our community. ❤️

The Warren Sons of the American Legion want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our annual Holiday Coat Drive such a success for local homeless Veterans.

Because of your generosity, we raised about $14,000 in donations and an amazing number of coats and winter items that will make a real difference this season.

Special thanks to:
• Ocean State Job Lots for their incredibly generous donation of coats
• The Warren Lions Club for their financial support
• Our Post 293 members and guests who donated and helped raise funds
• And every community member who gave items or money

This is what happens when a town comes together to take care of those who served. We are proud, grateful, and honored to be part of such a caring community.
