Join us for Pulmonary Chat tomorrow - Tuesday, August 18th at 4:30 PM Eastern time as we continue our mission to provide tools for living with lung disease.
AI for Everyday Health and Care:
How patients and caregivers can safely use AI to find and understand information, stay organized, coordinate care, and prepare for what comes next.

This week, Marc and Jennifer Bulandr provide important information about how to safely use Artificial Intelligence to assist in managing health.
Whether we are ready or not, AI is becoming more and more integrated into our world. From AI assisted searches on Google (and other search engines) to companies incorporating AI assistants into their customer service systems, we are interacting with Artificial Intelligence every time we use a computer or smart phone. Although it can seem scary and/or intimidating, with a little understanding we can ensure that we are getting good information that is relevant and helpful. With a bit more knowledge, we can utilize the tools at our disposal for better organization, coordination of care, and reduce the amount of time it takes to manage healthcare.

About our presenters:
Marc Bulandr is the Founder of QIS, Qualitative Intelligence Systems. He brings decades of experience in technology, systems thinking, qualitative research, and applied sociology to the challenge of helping institutions better understand the people they were built to serve.

Jennifer Bulandr is a communications and patient engagement consultant serving the pulmonary and rare disease community and Founding Adviser of QIS. Her work focuses on patient programming, community engagement, and helping patients and caregivers share their stories.

08/05/2026

Today we recognize World NTM Awareness Day.

Nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) lung disease is a chronic lung infection that can be difficult to recognize and diagnose. It often affects people living with bronchiectasis, COPD, cystic fibrosis, or weakened immune systems.

Common symptoms may include:
• Chronic cough
• Fatigue
• Shortness of breath
• Increased mucus production
• Recurrent respiratory infections

Raising awareness can lead to earlier diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and greater support for those living with NTM lung disease.

At Right2Breathe, we’re proud to support the NTM community through education, resources, and connection—because everybody has a Right2Breathe.
