Look what popped up in the park when no one was looking! A sweet, colorful, hand-crafted lending library for the community. The vision for this work of art was Ed and Diane Dean's 11-year old granddaughter who designed it and painted it. Installing it was a family affair. Member, Lynn Palmieri added some books to the collection. Take a book. Lend a book. Thank you so much to the Deans. That's the spirit!

Talk about toiling! That's Jean McCabe shoveling a huge pile of loam to level out the park so that her dad, Ken, can plant seed and have an easier time mowing at the ripe old age of 92. Phew! Good work!
