Rotary Club of Warren, Arkansas This is the page for the Rotary Club of Warren, Ark. We currently meet twice a month on the second and fourth Tuesday at First Methodist Church.

Meetings start at noon. The Rotary Club of Warren has been involved with a number of community service projects in it's more than 100 year existence. One of our ongoing service initiatives is the Imagination Library. Our local club donates money from our "Happy Box" to this program along with proceeds from our Pancake Breakfast during the Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival. Other projects we've b

een involved in recently include a new storage facility at the Warren Baseball and Softball Complex, donations to the Blessing Box at the Warren Branch Library, Rotary District 6170 Disaster Relief, and other numerous projects that Rotary has donated funds to in our city and county along with Rotary's projects around the globe.

Today's Rotary Program was Clint Horn of Timber Logistics. Horn spoke about the history of the timber industry in the area and what the future may hold. He also talked about Timber Logistics and answered a few questions from the crowd. Horn is pictured with Rotarian Bob Milton, who introduced him as the program.

Rotary's program for the day was Nora Pacheco, who spoke about the upcoming 70th Annual Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival. The main days on the square set for Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13. The full week of events kicks off on Saturday, June 6 in Hermitage with the PTF pageants. Pacheco was also wearing her PTF shirt, which are on sale at the banks and the Bradley County Chamber of Commerce. Rotarian Donna Lawhon introduced Pacheco as the program.

The Rotary Club of Warren's program for today was from Mainline Health's Warren School-Based Clinic. Jessie Owen spoke about the amount of visits they've had just in the first quarter of this year. She also let the group know that there is more than primary care available as they also provide dental and mental health services. They provide these services across all of the Warren School District with Karen Richardson, APRN serving as the main primary care provider. Rotarian Carlton Davis presented the program of Jessica Griffin today, who is the Local Lead Captain for Early Childhood Education for the Southeast Arkansas Education Service Cooperative. Griffin spoke about her role with the organization and how the LEARNS Act is involved. She is tasked with supporting access to early childhood programs, identifying gaps, fostering local partnerships, creating alignment, and establishing a local plan so that all children are ready for kindergarten. She talked about how early childhood education can be overlooked and how important it is for the development of children. Additionally, she was made an honorary member of the Warren Rotary Club and earned Paul Harris Fellow recognition for donating money towards the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. Our club donated $1,000 in her name to the Rotary Foundation in order for her to earn PHF status.
