Hello everyone! Below are our final numbers! We loved working on this project and serving so many communities around the country. We are proud of what we accomplished in a short time and grateful for all of the people who came together to help us. We hope you and your families continue to stay safe, happy, and healthy.

CALL FOR TSHIRTS! Hello everyone! We need more shirts! Masks for Many wants to expand and send masks to places that need them the most, including local organizations and organizations in Baltimore (as COVID numbers and homeless populations grow) and Minnesota (as the riots expose many to COVID).

But we need your help, we need more shirts! Please share this post!

If you have old tshirts to donate, please contact us or Brooke Stanicki on Facebook - we will give you an address to drop off shirts or a representative will come pick up shirts from you!

Mask Making Update:

Hello guys! Beyond thankful for all of the support we have received! To date, we have created and donated 1,250 masks! We are honored to help our community and cannot wait to continue doing it!

How You Can Help!

1. Like/share our page and join our Facebook group!
2. Donate tshirts! We are in need of more old tshirts to make into masks! Inform us that you would like to drop off tshirts and we will give you an address to drop them off!
3. Make masks! We love donations of sewn and nonsewn masks!

How to Make Non-Sewn Masks:

We have a video below on how to make 4 masks from 1 shirt!

Method 1:
1. Cut out 12in x 16in rectangle from the shirt
2. Fold cut side 2/3 of the way into the shirt
3. Fold seam size over the cut side
4. Place hair ties a few inches over each of the ends
5. Fold tails of shirt into the mask so they touch
6. Fold and place into plastic "Sandwich" style bag

Method 2:
1. Cut sleeves off of tshirt
2. Cut 2-2.5inch strips from a white or black shirt (use black for white sleeves, white for any other color sleeve)
3. Pull strips to make into straps
4. Cut straps to 12in length and pull 2 through sleeve
5. Double knot straps and pull the knot into the sleeve
6. Fold and place into plastic "Sandwich" style bag

You can either

1. Use materials you have
2. Pick up materials from us (contact us and say you need materials) and we will give you a bag with donated shirts
3. Buy materials (like hair ties and plastic bags) and we will reimburse you if you give us the receipt

Thank you so much! Contact us with any additional questions, comments, and concerns! Stay safe!!

Welcome to Masks For Many! We are a nonprofit that is creating masks and redistributing them to areas that need them during the COVID-19 pandemic - especially soup kitchens and other charitable organizations that are providing COVID-19 relief.

REMINDER: Cloth masks are preferable to not wearing a mask, but medical personnel require higher levels of protection, such as surgical masks and N95 masks.

How can you help?

1. Drop off t-shirts!

Our volunteers will be making masks out of t-shirts and hair ties (as per the CDC guidelines below) and we need more! If you have t-shirts that you were going to throw away, we would love to have them! Please contact me for the address - my information is at the bottom of this post.

2. Volunteer with us! Make masks yourself and drop them off!

I see so many talented people have been making masks! If you are currently making masks and don’t know where they would have the most use, drop them off with us! We would love to redistribute your masks so you can have the most impact!

If you want to start making masks, the CDC has several great methods! There are sew and no-sew options that allow for anyone to make masks! Its a great craft for your kids too, especially when you guys have run out of things to watch on TV!

All donated masks must be placed into plastic bags before collection! Plastic sandwich bags work perfectly! (See pictures below, top mask is the “bandana method” and the bottom mask is the “t-shirt method” from the CDC guidelines)

If you have recently lost an internship and need a volunteer opportunity, we would love to have you! Being a volunteer with us requires you to make at least 10 masks, and if you make masks on a larger scale, we will be happy to write you a letter of recommendation.

3. Donate so we can get supplies/get gas to make deliveries!

If you want to donate money to our cause, please Venmo on Venmo - 100% of proceeds will go into making masks and redistributing them.

If you have any questions, or have any other extra resources to re-distribute, please reach out! You can contact me on Facebook Messenger, text me at 732 882 8312 or email us at [email protected]
