WAR Trails - Warren Active Recreation Trail Alliance The Warren Active Recreation Trail Alliance is dedicated to gaining access to and maintaining single-track trails in the southern Adirondacks.

Warren Active Recreation Trails Alliance is a division of the Warren County Safe & Quality Biking Organization that is dedicated to the off-road trail systems of Warren County and the Southern Adirondacks of New York. Our goal is to develop and maintain these off-road trail systems for the public use of human powered activities such as: Hiking, Biking, snow shoeing and XC Skiing. The belief is that the "active" members of our community and its' guests will help maintain and protect our area's trail systems and watershed properties by building sustainable trails. You may not know it yet, but Warren County, NY has a lot to offer mountain bikers, hikers, back-country skiers and snowshoers. With the Trails at Gurney Lane at the center, there are many other trail systems emerging. With the completion of the Rush Pond Trail, we can connect Gurney Lane with other trail systems along West Glens Falls and Queensbury. Use this site as a resource for developments on these up-and-coming trail systems.
