Club member Stephen Floyd was asked by nationally known model railroader Tony Koestner.... well, let Stephen tell you.
"It was an honor when Tony Koester ask to use The Sylvania Branch as an example of a branch line model in his new book Guide To Modeling Branch Lines. To read the full article pick up a copy, it is available through Firecrown Media and Amazon."
That's Stephen on the left 2nd from front at lunch with club members and friends and photos of the article. The Sylvania Branch is Stephen's personal layout.
Congratulations Stephen, it's well deserved. You can possibly meet him and other great modelers at the upcoming Central Georgia Railroad Prototype Modelers (RPM) meet in Macon this month.
