Recently, while rearranging some furniture inside the Warminster Library, staff rediscovered a historic 1701 land deed signed by Philadelphia's first elected mayor. The deed covers modern-day York and Steet Road.

In recognition of this historic artifact's spectacular rediscovery, local historian and writer, Patrick Michael McFadden, will present the research behind the land deed and the importance of Warminster and The Old York Road to the founding of our country in 1776.

Join us on Saturday, September 26th at 2 PM for the special presentation!
