For Waretown’s 150th anniversary, SRMS students were challenged to write a three to four hundred word essay on the following topic: Even after 150 years, why does Ocean Township remain a unique and interesting place?

Southern Regional had a seventh and eighth grade winner. They were recognized at school in front of their peers on Thursday, May 28.

They will each receive a $75 prize at a reception held by the Township Committee on July 13.

We are very proud of these two students! Congratulations to both on their accomplishment.
