Competitors in next weekends powerlifting event need to check their email TONIGHT as they will receive an email with the competition information.
For thise making cookies for the annual competition please read the rules below:
* 🍪have to be dropped off at the Welcome Center in a disposable container
* name & cell phone # & what flavor 🍪 was made should be on a paper inside the container.
* When dropping off at the Welcome Center you must say it’s for the Sunday 🍪 🏋️‍♀️competition.

Flu season is here, and we’re making it easier to protect yourself and your family!

Walgreens pharmacy staff will be at the Gleason Family YMCA offering FREE flu shots on:
Friday, October 23, 9:00–11:00 AM
Sunday, October 25, 9:00–11:00 AM

Flu vaccines are available for ages 3 and up.

Please bring your insurance card if you have one. No insurance? No problem — free vaccine vouchers will be available.

No appointment is necessary — walk-ins are welcome!

Help keep yourself, your family, and our community healthy this flu season. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came out to join us at Stone Path Malt last week at our annual Sip & Support event, in support of our Annual Campaign. It was a great night filled with friends, community, good food and drinks, and CRAZY HATS!

Today, on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we’re reminded of the importance of honoring Indigenous history, culture, and the communities whose traditions continue to shape the place we call home.

This week, right here in our own backyard, the Wampanoag Experience Powwow is taking place on October 17th at Round the Bend Farm in South Dartmouth, MA. This is a beautiful opportunity to learn, connect, and celebrate the rich culture and traditions of A Wampanoag people through dance, storytelling, native arts and crafts, traditional food, and so much more.

Tickets are just $5 in advance and $10 at the gate. Elders and kids 10 and under get in free.

We encourage our Y community to show up and support this incredible local event. Visit Round the Bend Farm to grab your tickets.

Hispanic Heritage Month begins on September 15 and runs through October 15, giving us an opportunity to recognize and celebrate members of our communities and their ancestors who hail from Mexico, parts of the Caribbean, Central and South America and Spain. YMCA Southcoast celebrates you this Hispanic Heritage month!
