Message from the PTA:

We hope everyone had a great first day of school! I wanted to reach out with a few things.

Open houses for WPS will be over the next three weeks. We need a couple of volunteers at each to man a table with some information and forms. The dates and times are below.

Wareham Elementary School - Wednesday, August 31 from 5:30-7pm
Wareham Middle School - Thursday, September 8 from 5:30-7:pm.
Wareham High School - Thursday, September 15 at 6pm

*Wareham Middle School will also be holding a book fair during their open house hours. We will be looking for volunteers for that as well.

Our first meeting of the school year will be Tuesday, September 13th from 6:30-7:30pm at Wareham Middle School. We will be alternating the meetings between the Middle School and Wareham Elementary School.

If you plan to volunteer during the school year, you will need to have a CORI on file. They are good for three years. If you are unsure if your CORI has expired, please reach out to your school's mail office over the coming weeks (preferably not this week) to find out the status or drop by and fill out a form. You will need to bring a picture ID.

Lastly, we are in need of Board Members. We cannot have a PTA without a board. We currently have one board member that would like to return. We need to have four to complete the board. If you are interested, please reach out to me. Experience is not needed and there are plenty of people to help you. We will hold elections at our October meeting. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Student schedules are now live on PowerSchool. If students would like to request any changes or notice they need a hole filled, please have them complete the schedule change request form: https://forms.gle/WidKN2WE4QivJPjL6

The first day of school is Monday, August 29. Students should be in their period 1 class by 7:40 a.m. Monday is a Day A and will follow the Day A bell schedule below. Please note that Advisory is listed as period 9 on students’ schedules.
