We really miss our friend Joe McGee, but he’d be so happy to see his new book - Sherlock Roach and the Case of the Crunchy Crumb - in the hands of young readers! Yesterday, WordPlay Connects partnered with The River House to share Joe McGee’s Sherlock Roach and the Case of the Crunchy Crumb with Capon Bridge Elementary students. The kiddos met Joe’s wife Jess Rinker, did a fun art activity, and went home with a free copy of Sherlock Roach, signed by illustrator Jannie Ho.

Thanks to all who joined us for Educators’ Night! Linda Sue Park received a very warm welcome to West Virginia (her first-ever visit to our state!) and enjoyed chatting with her fans and signing books. Tomorrow, WordPlay Connects and Linda Sue will visit three schools–and 150 students will receive free copies of her newest book, Just One Gift! 🎁
