First Pick was founded by two women who are battling the world in order to provide their special needs children with the necessary skills to lead happy and productive lives. We have been sad, angry, frustrated, and encouraged by our own desire to see our children succeed; all of these emotions have led us to create First Pick. There is a great need for kids who would otherwise be playing alone, in

order to avoid ridicule, to have an outlet where they can build friendship without fear. First Pick is for children from all walks of life, all backgrounds, and all abilities. We do this for all the kids who have been left out; For all the kids who are bullied, forgotten, and misunderstood! Every child, whether it be special needs or just different traits, deserves to be a first pick!
