Over three days at the Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck, NY, we heard these stories again and again. Shoppers came from all over the country, and many stopped not just to browse, but to share how addiction has touched their lives.

Some stories were full of hard-won joy. Some carried deep loss.

We're grateful for every person who stopped by, and each story reminds us why this work matters: healing and recovery are possible, the women on our team prove it every day.

What is the landscape of mental health support and recovery resources in Dutchess County?

Dutchess County has a strong network of organizations addressing mental health, addiction, housing, and recovery. The opportunity now is to connect those resources more intentionally, so people don't have to navigate a fragmented system alone. We’re especially focused on the post-treatment period, when someone is ready to build stability, earn an income, find housing, and become fully connected to their community. Through partnerships with organizations including Hudson River Housing, we are combining our service pathways to provide a continuum of care where women can more easy solve challenges in housing, transportation, and employment.
