Partners Behind the Classic: Savant Wealth Management

A special thank you to Savant Wealth Management, our Golf Ball Sponsor for the 2026 Abilities First Golf & Tennis Classic!

This partnership is made even more meaningful through Michelle Smith, a valued member of the Foundation for Abilities First NY Board of Directors and Golf & Tennis Classic Committee. Year after year, Michelle amazes us with the time, energy, hard work, and generosity she brings to making this event a success.

Thank you, Michelle and Savant Wealth Management, for once again going above and beyond for Abilities First and the people we serve. 💙💚 Their support truly goes beyond the course and court.

We look forward to celebrating the generosity, partnerships, and shared commitment to our mission at the 2026 Golf & Tennis Classic on October 5th at The Powelton Club!

Abilities First was happy to participate in the recent Hyde Park Central School District Back to School BBQ, an afternoon dedicated to connecting individuals and families with valuable resources, services, and organizations from throughout our community.

We were joined by so many wonderful community partners, including Dutchess County Government Mobile Health & Wellness, Ulster Savings, the Hyde Park Visual Environment Committee, Regional Food Bank Hudson Valley, and United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region, among others.

And there was a little pampering, too! Texture Hair and Colour Group and Artistic Hair Lounge were on hand providing haircuts for attendees.

Thank you to the organizers for inviting Abilities First to be part of such a meaningful day. We loved meeting community members, sharing information about our programs and services, and connecting with other organizations doing important work throughout the Hudson Valley.

Community connections make us all stronger, and we're grateful to be part of it! 💙💚

Partners Behind the Classic: NFP

We’re proud to recognize NFP, an Aon company as our Reception Sponsor for the 2026 Abilities First Golf & Tennis Classic!

NFP's partnership with Abilities First extends far beyond event sponsorship. Under the leadership of David Melby, NFP has consistently shown what it means to be a true community partner—supporting our mission, showing up for our events, and encouraging a culture of giving back.

Year after year, you’ll find members of the NFP team right alongside us, generously giving their time as volunteers and helping make our events and initiatives a success.

To David and the entire NFP team, thank you for continuing to show up for Abilities First and the children, adults, and families we support. Your partnership helps make opportunities possible both on and off the course and court.

We look forward to celebrating with you at the 2026 Golf & Tennis Classic on October 5th at The Powelton Club!

☀️ A Sweet Summer Tradition at Middletown Education Center!

Our annual Ice Cream Day was the perfect way to add a little extra sweetness to summer at Middletown Education Center! Students and staff enjoyed plenty of ice cream, treats, smiles, and fun together.

A special thank you to Stewart's Shops for generously donating the ice cream and treats that helped make the day so special!

We’re also incredibly grateful to the Foundation for Abilities First NY and to all of our donors whose gifts to the Foundation make experiences like this possible. Your generosity helps create moments of joy, connection, and lasting memories for the children and adults we support throughout the year.

Thank you for continuing to make abilities—and a whole lot of smiles—possible!
