Wappingers Masonic Lodge #671 Masonic Lodge of the Grand Lodge of New York founded in 1867. Meeting on the 3rd Monday of September, and then the 1st and 3rd Mondays until the end of May.

Last meeting before summer break is 1st Monday in June. Dinner at 6:30 PM. Meeting at 7:30 PM

An excellent meeting this evening at Wappingers Lodge under the leadership of Worshipful James Tyson! Past Grand Master Bill Sardone spoke about his term as Grand Master, as well as his current initiatives, including those involving beekeeping up in Utica and model railroading down in New Rochelle. He also discussed the ways that the brothers at the local lodge level, each doing their part, are an essential part of the success of the Grand Lodge of the State of New York Free & Accepted Masons.

MW Sardone also assisted in the kitchen, helping RW Sal Sahawneh and Bro. Scott Swartz whip up a delicious meal of chicken, steak, mashed potatoes, salad, green beans, etc. The lack of pictures of dinner, because it was eaten too quickly, speaks of its high quality.

Thanks again to all the brothers who joined us, from near and far. Monumental Hudson Widow's Son Lodge #7, Warren Lodge #32, Rhinebeck Lodge #432, Rip Van Winkle Lodge #468, West Point Lodge 877 F & AM, Wallkill Lodge #627 F&AM, and even a brother from the Grand Lodge of Indiana were all there representing.

We've met in our current building since 1967, and the Worshipful Master back in 1967, R.W. Merton O'Prey was just sent his 65 year Masonic certificate. He lives down in North Carolina and at the age of 93 is still in regular communication with our secretary.

Looking at the various improvements to the R. Malcolm Masonic War Veterans Post 53 building where Wappingers Masonic Lodge #671 meets, it is truly a sight to behold, particularly over the past decade.

It is through the work of brothers, at Wappingers Lodge, in the Post Lodge, from our fellow Blue Lodges Beacon Lodge and Triune-Obed, those in the The Official Valley of the Hudson AASR NMJ Consistory, Hebron Lodge of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge, our sisters in the Order of the Easter Star, and all the other Masonic groups that meet in the building that we are able to have such progress!

Let's check back in 10 years!

Brothers - Just a reminder as all the fun and excitement of yesterday's Grand Master's Day at West Point is slowly wearing off, we wanted to remind you that Past Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of the State of New York Free & Accepted Masons (2018-2021) MW Bill Sardone will be attending our next lodge meeting tomorrow, October 21. He will be giving a talk entitled "Plans of a Past Grand Master". We hope to see you all there!

Also note for dinner you must RSVP by 10 PM tonight, either here or to the lodge e-mail address, as the stewards need time to shop. There will be a chicken dish and steak on the menu.

Oct. 21 - Lodge Meeting - Visit and Talk by Past GM of Grand Lodge of the State of New York Free & Accepted Masons MW Bill Sardone – You must RSVP to [email protected] for dinner. Dinner will be steak or chicken.
Nov. 1 - Memorial Service at Gates of Heaven in Westchester for Bill Settembrino and Matt Settembrino's brother.
Nov. 4 - Lodge Meeting – SW Dale Borchert – Talk on the NYC Water System and the The Croton Aqueduct
Nov. 11 - Lodge cleanup
