Good afternoon Refuge Family,

After much discussion amongst the leadership in the church, we will not be having church service or activities at Wapella Christian Church this Sunday March 15th. However, Josh’s sermon will be uploaded tomorrow on the Wapella Christian Church page as well as on our website: www.wapellacc.org.

We encourage everyone to follow CDC’s and WHO’s guidelines of regular hand-washing and using hand sanitizer. Please stay tuned for another announcement later in the week concerning services and activities on Sunday March 22nd.

We ask that you would lift our local and federal leaders as well as those who are ill in prayer. During this time, take to heart Joshua 1:9

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Refuge will meet from 6-7 pm tonight at the church. If you are in need of transportation please contact Josh Gorrie by 5:30 pm. We will be continuing our Doctrine study that is led by Francis Chan! We look forward to seeing you there.

As winter is fast approaching Wapella Christian Church is still able to offer rides to and from youth group. However as driving conditions can change rapidly in Illinois please contact Josh or Jacob at least 45 mins (Approx 5:15 PM) before youth group to let us know you need a ride.
