Did you purchase a new Christmas tree during after-Christmas sales? Christmas Jubilee is accepting donations of artificial Christmas trees to support families during our 2026 holiday distribution. This past year, we did not have enough trees for every family in need. Your donated tree will help ensure more families can experience the joy of having a Christmas tree. The week of December 14 was a busy and meaningful one for our Christmas Jubilee volunteers. Food was picked up from Aldi, and gifts generously donated by local residents were collected, sorted, and carefully packed into boxes labeled with each family’s name.

On Saturday, December 20, volunteers were able to meet the families whose holidays were made brighter through Christmas Jubilee and the incredible support of our community. Because of these donations, children woke up to gifts under their Christmas trees and families had food not only for Christmas dinner, but for the days and weeks that followed.

None of this would be possible without the generosity of those who donated money, food, gifts, and their time. We are truly blessed by a community that continues to show up and care for one another when it matters most. Thank you for helping make Christmas happen.

Yesterday I spoke with a mother picking up food and gifts, and her words touched my heart. For the past few years, she said Christmas Jubilee has been their blessing during the holidays. She just finished school and is starting a new job, and hopes that next year they’ll be able to help another family in need.

Stories like hers remind us why we do this. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to help 161 families in the Wapakoneta City School District this year. Your kindness truly made a difference.

Thank you for giving hope, joy, and Christmas magic to so many.

If you are picking up food and gifts tomorrow, please enter through the Dearbaugh Street entrance and use the right lane only. Proceed to the Jr. Fair Building, then exit through the front gate onto Auglaize Street.

With three events happening at the fairgrounds, this route will help reduce congestion and keep traffic flowing smoothly for everyone.
