The two have partnered to launch a state-wide survey supporting MWBE and SDVOB Offshore Wind Supply Chain in New York State. This should produce much needed data on the level of interest and awareness of OSW opportunities within the aforementioned communities.

Big news for Long Island rate payers. Reported in Newsday, "The state Public Service Commission has reversed a previous ruling that would have left Long Islanders and other downstate ratepayers with the tab for the bulk of offshore-wind power transmission costs, following an appeal by LIPA to spread the costs statewide. " This ruling acknowledges that the entire state will benefit from the pending OSW projects and the cost distribution should reflect that. Learn more here:

LIPA successfully argued it should be spread across the state, after the PSC initially said downstate utilities should pay 75% of the billions in costs
