HPMF offers tackle & flag football along with rec cheer. Welcoming all in grades K-8. HPMF coaches are much more than athletic directors.

High Point Midget Football (HPMF) and Cheer is a non-profit 501(c)3 fully volunteer youth football and cheer club dedicated to bringing the sport of football and cheer to those boys and girls who reside in Sussex, Wantage, Frankford, Lafayette, Branchville and Montague. We are committed to learning, playing and loving football and cheer. Our coaches use their passion for football and cheer as the

foundation to help kids build character and learn critical life skills from understanding the value of hard work and respect, to giving back to the High Point community.

🚨 ARE YOU READY IF THE UNTHINKABLE HAPPENS? 🚨

We hear and read about it all the time…

“Football player collapses on the field.”
“Student-athlete goes down during practice.”
“Sports star suffers cardiac arrest.”

You never think it’s going to happen to your team or your child — but if it does, are the people around them prepared?

At the HP Jr Wildcats, we want the answer to be YES. ❤️🖤

Tonight, 19 of our coaches became CPR certified.

Our parents trust us with what matters most to them — their children. We take that responsibility seriously. Wins and losses matter on game day, but the safety and well-being of every Wildcat will always come first.

A huge thank you to all 19 coaches who took the time to attend tonight’s training.

Thank you to Cathy for taking the time to train and certify our staff, and thank you to the Sussex Firehouse for allowing us to use your building.

Another step toward making sure our athletes are surrounded by people who are trained, prepared, and ready to act when seconds matter.

🚨 BROOKSIDE PARK UPDATE — THIS IS NOT OVER. 🚨

Last night, Sussex Borough Mayor & Council had the Brookside Park situation on their agenda.

When the opportunity came to publicly discuss why High Point Jr. Wildcats football was removed from Brookside Park, the Council voted 4–2 NOT to discuss it.

Then the public spoke.

Parents spoke. Community members spoke. People demanded transparency and answers.

And because people showed up and spoke up, we now have another opportunity.

📅 SEPTEMBER 15TH
Sussex Borough Mayor & Council will hold an OPEN PUBLIC DISCUSSION regarding what happened with Brookside Park and our football program.

But understand where things stand today:

We still have not been given a clear public explanation for why football was removed.

We still are not being allowed back at Brookside.

And after voting 4–2 against discussing the issue last night, the Borough now has two weeks before this open discussion.

Our concern is simple: We don’t want selected pieces of information. We don’t want a carefully prepared version of what happened.

We want the complete timeline. We want the full truth. We want transparency.

Who made the decision?

When was it made?

Who authorized it?

Why was it made?

And why is our football program still being denied access to Brookside Park?

This has become bigger than a football field.

It’s about how decisions affecting our children, our organizations, and our community are made.

September 15th. Show up.

Last night proved something important:
