As the USMC Combined Action Platoons (CAP Teams) went fully mobile, many changes occurred. They lived out in the villages on a 24/7 basis and as such had less reason to worry about stiff barracks types checking them out. They didn't have a compound or a base to operate from, they selected a different spot every day in one of the hamlets to hunker down for the day. At night they split up and snuck into tactical positions around known VC routes. These were effective rugged combat teams that lived "in and behind enemy lines all the time." As such they developed individual and independent "looks" of identity. One time a Marine general commented that these teams looked like a bunch of Chinese Warlords. This team, from CAP 2-2-2, in the area west of Dai Loc obviously put on a show for this photos. But this is real and the men in there are serious combat veterans of many ambush and patrols where contact with the enemy occurred. This photo is from a well known CAP combat veteran Jack Cunningham whose combat reputation is beyond question. Jack is on the top row and is second from the right. Semper Fi

To All Federal Law Enforcement Personnel, Each New Jersey Supreme Court Justice

Cc. Americans-Working-Together

I, as a concerned proud, decorated Marine Veteran and citizen of New Jersey, am deeply troubled by the unjust criminal practices and lack of accountability exhibited by the New Jersey Supreme Court as they try to protect one of their own Supreme Court Attorney Robert D. Correale and his former law firm Maynard & Truland of Morristown, New Jersey for 23 years. This petition aims to shed light on the urgent need for justice and reform within New Jersey State's highest judicial body.

Personal Story:

As a victim of New Jersey Supreme Court government fraud, obstruction of Justice, denial of my Due Process based on their deception and discrimination and harassment related to my Combat Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), I have personally experienced the devastating consequences of an unresponsive and biased judicial system. My 23-year struggle for justice has been met with indifference, leaving me feeling helpless and marginalized. My Combat PTSD is completely, unnecessarily exacerbated. A number of times, I have called the Federal Veteran Crisis line over this unnecessary stress.

The New Jersey Supreme Court, which is entrusted with upholding justice and protecting citizens' rights, has repeatedly failed to fulfill its duty for 23 years.

Unfair Bias:

There have been alarming instances where it appears that personal biases may influence decisions made by certain justices within the court. This compromises impartiality, fairness, and ultimately denies justice to those who deserve it most.

This imbalance perpetuates systemic injustices that disproportionately affect marginalized groups. In this case, an honorable, combat PTSD veteran.

Call to Action:

We demand immediate action from relevant Federal authorities to address these concerning issues within New Jersey State's highest court:

By signing this petition, we stand together to demand justice, fairness, and accountability from our New Jersey Supreme Court. Let us not allow our judicial system to continue operating in an opaque manner that perpetuates injustice and unnecessary pain. It is time for change – a change that will restore faith in our courts and ensure equal access to justice for all citizens.

An Open Letter to the New Jersey Supreme Court Concerning Their 23-year Combat PTSD Discrimination, PTSD Harassment, Government Fraud, Obstruction of Justice, Denial of my Due Process based on Deception, etc. Against John Jack Cunningham, Sussex, New Jersey

To: The New Jersey Supreme Court Justices
Chief Justice Stuart Rabner, Justice Ann M. Paterson, Justice Lee Solomon, Justice Fabiana Pierre-Louis, Justice Douglas M. Fascile, Justice Rachel Wainer Apter, New Jersey Supreme Court Clerk
CC: Department of Veterans Affairs PTSD task force; Federal Department of Justice Civil Rights and Government Fraud Divisions, Federal Department of EEOC -11G [Incident: 230811-000672]
New Jersey Governor Philip D Murphy; New Jersey Attorney General; New Jersey Federal Congressman Josh Gottheimer;
From: John “Jack” Cunningham (Chronic PTSD From The Vietnam War)

A Vietnam combat veteran’s request for relief from a 23-year battle with the State of New Jersey for Due Process.
After twenty-three years, lawyer Robert Correale, a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Office of Attorney Ethics is still being protected by that office as well as the New Jersey Supreme Court. Both high level politicians and high-level New Jersey Government officials have participated in this 23-year debacle of covering up his and the State of New Jersey’s fraud, and obstruction of justice.
Democrat Congressman Josh Gottheimer called it “Veteran Discrimination.” A Constitutional attorney referred to it as "Government Fraud." A 33-year retired Police Officer called it "Denial of Due Process based on Deception." Many veterans call it "20 years of PTSD Harassment." Regardless of the name attached to it, the flagrant disregard for a PTSD veteran is a total disgrace. It should be a violation of the law in both state and federal codes.
As many New Jersey politicians and New Jersey government officials already know, the Department of Veterans Affairs PREVENTS task force is partnering with various agencies around the nation to find solutions to the rampant mental issues and su***des within the veteran and military community. This has been a long overdue concept.
Being diagnosed with chronic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, the fact that PTSD is rising to the nation’s consciousness, gives me hope that maybe, the federal government will finally realize what PTSD Harassment is, and how harassment brings chronic PTSD veterans to thoughts of su***de. I know because I have experienced it firsthand.
Although I suffer from PTSD, I feel blessed that I got to serve in the Marine Corps’ Combined Action Program (CAP). Knowing that I served in such a proud unit helps me.
CAP was a special humanity-combat unit that sent small teams of Americans to live within Vietnamese peasant villages. Although we were extremely young, we learned so much. During a couple periods in the Duc Duc Refugee village, we only had 4 Americans in a village of over 800 families. Being in such a small team, we strongly felt that we could never surrender. We had to learn quickly, with the continual threat of attacks. My buddy George Dros even gives me credit for saving three Marines’ lives, including his. I was wounded three (3) different times. I received one Purple Heart. The other two times I was wounded were inconsequential. But most of the people of Duc Duc loved us living in their village.
I am extremely proud of my actions in my village of Duc Duc and I consider myself a proud Vietnam Vet. I fought honorably like 2.5 million other Vietnam Vets. (My email is [email protected])
I tell you all this because I want you to learn. Yes, I have PTSD, but it was from living through two different CAP Teams in Vietnam. Though it was at times frightening, the constant threats and battles we faced caused the problem of PTSD. There are mitigations for PTSD, but science has not yet found a cure.
Between 1987 and 1996, I was hospitalized six times for PTSD. In 1996, I spent six months in hospitals for PTSD. It’s all well documented within the federal Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
PTSD sucks. I still live with it, but I’ve learned tricks of coping and understand it better.
When it becomes intense from whatever might trigger it, thoughts of su***de come to the forefront. You try to calm yourself. But the PTSD is immediate. Based on the trigger, a PTSD vet will suffer. The toll on a PTSD veteran’s mind is immense.
A trigger like twenty years of harassment in fighting a corrupt government State Supreme Court division like the Office of Attorney Ethics for my due process, is a hell of an unnecessary, cruel and criminal act. For 20 years now, the Office of Attorney Ethics has openly denied me my due process. It’s government fraud. Four years ago, my Congressman Josh Gottheimer called it in a letter “Veteran Discrimination.” (Letter to be attached.)
The Office of Attorney Ethics even continued cover up games with State Senator Oroho. I have attached his two letters to the Supreme Court Office of Attorney Ethics. State Senator Steven Oroho and his staff did a great job pressing the NJ Supreme Court for information about Robert Correale. But the Supreme Court Office playing drag-out games so much, I did not appreciate all the work Senator Oroho did. I do now.
Here’s an email that I received from a New Jersey constitutional attorney. He was afraid to take on my case, because he felt that the New Jersey Supreme Court would remember. He wrote it as if I was to continue this war PRO SE, because no attorney in the state would take my case.
“Jack Cunningham's case is extremely interesting. I have run into certain things in NJ courts myself…
Statute of limitations issue is bogus… fraud has no limitation in federal court, and Statute of limitations runs from the time the fraud is found… It is an act to deceive, an act of fraud, an act to manipulate due process, - sanctions should be implemented – One of many cases spell this out… Referring both to the objective and subjective elements, we have held that qualified immunity would be defeated if an official "knew or reasonably should have known that the action he took within his sphere of official responsibility would violate the constitutional rights of the [plaintiff], or if he took the action with the malicious intention to cause a deprivation of constitutional rights or other injury." Harlow et al v. Fitzgerald, 457 U.S. 800; 102 S. Ct. 2727; 73 L. Ed. 2d 396; (1982).
File a civil suit in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey (federal court) - file this Civil Complaint under U.S.C. 28 §1331, federal question, civil actions arising under the Constitution, under U.S.C. 42 §1983, a civil action for deprivation of rights, and U.S.C. 42 §1985 a civil action for Conspiracy to interfere with civil rights against all Defendant’s you can list (growing list below)… you can do it pro se and file an application to proceed indigent… all documents are on the District of New Jersey (federal court)’s web site…
State courts have concurring jurisdiction over this type of civil suit, it can be filed in state court BUT Federal Courts are more easygoing with Pro Se writings, minor errors in format and rules etc.… And if a state attorney represented anyone, the challenge here would be if he was authorized to do so… i.e., an application filed for their service, defendant within the scope of employment… etc.… if not... it was fraud…
Check out the principles of the Noerr-Pennington Doctrine… first Amendment Rights… you may have further elements to build your case…
Void Judgments, move to vacate previous judgments for harmful errors, constitutional violations, fraud, etc.“
I am asking the Department of Veterans Affairs PREVENTS task force to get involved with this. I’m not suicidal today, but I have had thoughts of su***de a number of times over these past 20 years. When a chronic PTSD veteran feels hopeless and alone, those feelings are maximized.
I’m also pressing the State of New Jersey to end this cover up within the NJ Supreme Court Office of Attorney Ethics and give me my due process. Is 20 years long enough? I have boxes of clear and easy to understand evidence. I also want to know how the Honorable Judge Ronald Graves’ Superior Court transcript went missing before it could be typed. And I am extremely interested in learning how New Jersey Supreme Court attorney Robert Correale was allowed to commit open perjury in his sworn Certifications to the New Jersey Supreme Court.
Perpetrating fraud and failing to provide me with the due process to which I am entitled has made my life hell. It’s time to change the course to one of justice and hope.
Sincerely and Truthfully Yours,
John “Jack” Cunningham
