Your cans CAN make a difference!
Recently the founder of Generating Hope finished filling an entire trailer with aluminum pop cans and— through some creating maneuvering and splitting the load— got all 3,820 pounds of them to the recycling center. These 122,000+ cans generated over $3,300 that was donated to the Big Beaver Borough Fire Department.
But here’s where YOU can make a difference. We’re ready to start filling that trailer again— and the next load’s proceeds will be going to Generating Hope!
If you’d like to add your cans to the trailer, we’ll be working out days/times for collections or you can bring them straight to the trailer for the satisfaction of tossing them in yourself! And if you know of any local businesses that might have cans to donate or could act as a drop-off point, tag them in the comments to spread the word!
