Registration Fees:
$15 Adults
$10 Children Ages 12 and under
$10 for Students

Registration starts at 8:30 am. Register to win some great door prizes!
The course opens at 9:00 am and closes at 11 am. There will be water stations along the route and American Red Cross Volunteers.
Bottled Water, fresh fruit and granola bars are available for the participants.

Lunch will be served from 11 am to 12 pm . We will be serving: Sloppy joes, pasta salad, tossed salad, homemade cookies and tea/water.

We hope you can stay for our family time and special booths that will be located out and around the outside of the hall.
There will be leather making, jewelry making, homemade soap, essential oils, face painting, Czech flower crowns and Kolaches, along with special guests of KSDE Nutrition and SNAP Programs supporting nutritional wellness and Katie's Way of Manhattan supporting mental wellness in North West Kansas.

If you want to sit, relax and visit there will be live music offered in the hall by John Mike Kratina and Dennis Biswell from 12 to 1 pm.

Congratulation, Cailtyn Neufeldt 2022 Kansas CTE Scholar recipient
The Kansas CTE Scholars program celebrates outstanding students who’ve met several key criteria during the spring of their senior year.
The criterion for this honor includes:Students must have senior-level status. Most likely they will have needed to begin on their CTE coursework prior to their senior year to have met the other requirements.
They must have earned or be presently enrolled in three or more CTE credits with documentation of technical skill attainment. Two or more of these credits must be above the introduction level. Credits can be across pathways if career goals aren’t aligned within one pathway.
For completed CTE courses above the introduction level, students must have a GPA of a 3.5 or higher.
The student must complete a civic engagement project or a minimum of 100 hours of validated community service.
Honored students must have completed a work-based learning experience, including school-based experiences, internships, clinicals, or supervised agricultural experiences, or have worked at community-based or student-led businesses. These experiences should reflect the student’s career interests and industry expectations. A minimum of 80 hours of practical experience is expected prior to submission. The student must reflect on their experiences in a one-page outline and a short essay (maximum of 175 words).
Applicant must write a career vision statement (maximum of 175 words) describing how CTE courses and experiences help them reach their career choice and build their career vision.

On April 3rd through the 5th, FCCLA went to the State Leadership Conference in Wichita, Kansas. Our excellent group of old and new incoming officers all competed and represented Wamego proudly! Congratulations to all who competed in the LEO events!

Makayla Baum and Caitlyn Neufeldt also competed in their STAR Events on Monday and revived their placements on Tuesday!

District D STAR Events were held today at Frankfort! Thank you to Madison Hill, Madison Tilley, Amber White, Hunter Heiman, and Evie Robertson for being our judging team! A huge shoutout to our two competitors, MaKayla Baum and Caitlyn Neufeldt. MaKayla completed a project on Chapter in Review Display and Caitlyn completed a project on Job Interview! Good job ladies! We will find out their placing on Wednesday February 16th.
