What an incredible day for our community! ❤️
I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out and supported the WEIC Kick Off to Summer BBQ today. Seeing Austin Lincoln Park filled with so many families, kids, laughter, and community spirit was truly overwhelming in the best way possible.
The kids got to enjoy being kids again. The adults enjoyed great music, great food, and great company. The Skate Jam was amazing, and the Home Run Derby absolutely knocked it out of the park! We completely sold out of chicken, and the Italian ice and lemonade were huge hits. I also heard the 4H and Girl Scouts did outstanding today, and the Little League concession stand was a big hit as well!
The ATVs and side-by-sides were also loved by so many throughout the day. It was great seeing people stop, check them out, ask questions, and enjoy another fun part of the event!
