11/21/2024, members from the Walton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 270 handed out turkeys to veterans. This was the first year the VFW has handed out turkeys for veterans prior to Thanksgiving. Due to this event's success, the Walton VFW will plan on continuing this event annually in the future.
