Project HOPE 929 Inc. Help other people everyday by connecting them w/ resources they need 2 inspire hope for their future. Referrals as needed to other organizations.

What we do:
• Pay it Forward Initiative- Connecting people with resources and services. Helping people receive new/gently used clothing, shoes, toys, diapers, wipes, food, personal hygiene items, etc. Founded Pay it Forward ‘Christmas’ in Cass County in December 2015. When the collection first began it was all gently used items donated. In December 2022, the initiative helped 22 families.

• Prov

iding support and contributing to other community services/agencies/organizations that help people in the local community. Assisted with creating and operating a Resource Closet at a local church.

• Fundraising and events- helping those battling financial hardships due to unforeseen circumstances. These circumstances could include, but are not limited to, unexpected death or illness. Coordinated a jeep/motorcycle drive to assist a local family who had lost their teenage son to su***de. During this event other agencies were able to share information on su***de prevention. Our hope is to be available to any person who may need it in the community. We do reserve the right to ask for proof of financial burden from those who are seeking assistance to ensure that help is truly needed. No discrimination to any person regardless of race, s*x, gender identification, s*xual orientation, national origin, native language, religion, age, disability, marital status, citizenship, genetic information, pregnancy, or any other characteristic protected by law. Goals for future:
• Continue all initiatives already in existence. Continue to grow and expand efforts in those areas.
• Create a safe and supportive environment for youth in the local community.
• Provide youth focused activities for the community.
• Partner more with organizations in the community and run successful awareness events on topics the board sees fit.

Thanks to the generosity of Five Below we were able to help a number of organizations today!
Some things still need to be delivered.

Our Safe Space program (youth support group) participants.

Logansport-Cass County Public Library for the upcoming Craft Drop Ins & some legos for their Lego Club

Stand Up Cass County for their family Drop In events three times a month & giveaways for tabling events.

Cass County Zero Su***de Taskforce for their May 2 Mental Health Awareness/Su***de Prevention Walk

Cass County LOSS Team Volunteer Page for gifts for families having traumatic events or first responders on scene.

And for Thursday's Logansport Street Outreach program at Trinity!

We greatly appreciate the donations!!

Does anyone have any birthdays coming up that they need items for their kiddos? Don't forget we do have the Cass County's Open Closet, it is closed right now for regular visits, BUT if you message us we can make an apt to take you in!!
