ATTN Scouts, Scouters, Parents and Alumni,
Our Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Atharv Agarwal (“AT”), will be working on his Eagle Scout Leadership Project on Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday May 3rd. Scouts traditionally help on these projects because (1) they earn service hours toward rank advancement, (2) they will want other Scouts to help them when they are doing their Eagle Project someday, and (3) A SCOUT IS HELPFUL! Hi Everyone,
I’m currently working on my Eagle Scout project. I will be building an informational kiosk and two bog bridges to improve trail access and provide helpful information for visitors. The project will be made in Wooden Kiwi Productions, located at 99 Hammond Street in Waltham. I have scheduled my first workdays for:

May 2nd from 12:00 – 4:00 PM
May 3rd from 12:00 – 3:00 PM

I’m hoping to get around 6–8 scouts and/or adults to help out each day. This will count toward service hours for rank advancement or school requirements.

Last night at the Sons of Liberty District Recognition Event and Annual Dinner, Robert G. Logan was awarded the Paul Murphy Sr. Award for Distinguished Service to Scout Advancement and recognition for 50 years in scouting!

Tremendous achievement and so grateful for Robert’s leadership & service to scouting!

We had a great time at our Pinewood Derby last weekend! 🏁

Our Cub Scouts put in so much hard work designing and building their cars! From creative designs to impressive speed, everyone has something to be proud of.

Even more importantly, we saw great sportsmanship and lots of smiles throughout the day!

Thank you to all the families and volunteers who made it possible!

So proud of our Cub Scouts for spreading kindness and making a difference in our community! 💙 This week we donated 30 bags of kid-friendly snacks to the Newton Food Pantry as part of their Kids' Snack Bag Initiative. Cubs of all ranks decorated the bags, and our youngest Scouts and their families filled them with foods to help support local families in need.

With great sadness we share the news that our friend and fellow Scouter, Eric Bergeron, has passed away. Mr. Bergeron was the longtime Scoutmaster for Troop 250. He was a great leader, who cared deeply for Scouts and the Scouting program. We will carry his Scouting spirit with us on camping trips and hikes. Farewell, old friend.
